Dinner

By Meg | May 10, 2008

I would like to put together a simple dinner one night in the next couple of weeks for the DC chapter. If you’re interested, please let me know. I was thinking a place like La Madeleine Bakery & Cafe, that way everyone can pay for themselves and then we can all sit together. Here’s their site: http://lamadeleine.com/ There is one in Alexandria, Georgetown, Tysons and some other locations in the area. Depending on who I hear from and where everyone is located, we’ll make a decision as to what location to meet at. The idea of the dinner is for alumni in this area to meet, as well as to talk about ideas for the chapter. Please let me know if you’re interested in coming.

Pray for Dr. Hindson

By Meg | March 7, 2008

Dr. Hindson had open heart surgery on Monday, February 25th. The surgery went well, but while in the hospital he contracted a staph infection in his blood. Dr. Hindson has been on dialysis for a few hours each day in an attempt to try and rid his body of the toxins.

Please pray for God to heal Dr. Hindson’s body as well as for strength for the family. Your prayers are greatly appreciated.
